May 2019, I met Pedro. It was the month we saw each other for the first time, at a mutual friend's birthday party. Who would have thought that days later, we would be together again and in love with each other!! A bit of 'love at first sight'!
With each day, our love grew, and we lived happy days, full of intensity... an unexpected love, but one that was all good!
We started living together and thinking about building our family. Pedro had the dream of being a very present father, and in 2022, I became pregnant. In 2023, Gonçalo arrived to complete us and make our love even bigger.
I had the dream of getting married, Pedro not so much, but when we decided to baptize our Gonçalo, the question (and the idea) arose: 'What if, on the day of the baptism, we surprised our family and friends and got married?!'
And that’s what happened. On July 13, 2024, we baptized our Gonçalo and, as a surprise to everyone, we got married!
It was the most beautiful day of our lives, but at the same time, the most challenging and emotional! I baptized my son and married the man of my life officially, because in our hearts, we had been married for some time.
I wore my dream dress, entirely designed by my dear Conceição Leite, and I wore the wonderful sandals from BENVENUTA. It was a privilege to be the first bride in Portugal; I highly recommend it!!
